Butler - Professor Tiffany Butler, PhD, ATC is a professor in the Biomedical Engineering department at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA. After receiving her masters and doctoral degrees in Kinesiology (Athletic Training, Integrative Exercise Physiology) with a research focus on bone and bone biomechanics at Temple University, she came to WPI to combine her love for education and passion for exercise science. At WPI, Professor Butler also serves as the Director of Multicultural Affairs and is motivated in mentoring people groups who are under-represented in the STEM fields.</image:title>

Her book about museums and the popularizing of American modernism is The Modern Eye: Stieglitz, MoMA, and the Art of the Exhibition, 1925-1934 (Yale University Press, 2009). The Modern Eye was awarded the 2011 Charles C. Eldredge Prize for distinguished scholarship in American art by the Smithsonian American Art Museum.</image:title>
